Petra reports that Jordan Industrial Estates Company and German-Jordanian University signed a memorandum for a proposed Industrial District linking the university, laboratories, pilot factories and technology companies. The company describes applied research, training and technology transfer as aims. The announcement does not establish a funded construction programme, an operating district or jobs already created.
