Cyprus Mail reports that the House refugees committee criticised slow progress in the Ktizo housing programme. Chair Nikos Kettiros said only one new apartment building had been completed, with another expected in November, against 19 planned. He also said required household contributions were an affordability barrier and subsidy discussions had produced no decision. Strovolos officials had raised programme delays on September 22, alongside road and waste-service concerns. The new progress figures and affordability assessment remain attributed claims, not independently audited results.
