Oman Observer attributes the total and year-on-year comparison to NCSI; no direct matching statistical release or independent replication was inspected. The comparison is 7,689,967 versus 8,366,273 passenger movements, consistent with the rounded 8.1 percent decline. This is historical January-July traffic, not live aircraft activity, a unique-person count or proof of the cause of the decline. The visible page clock and structured publication metadata disagree by four hours; noon UTC therefore represents the September 5 publication date. The article was indexed and updated during this research window.
