OCHA says more than 2,500 Palestinians were displaced across the West Bank in 2026 in the context of settler violence and related access restrictions, almost half of them children. It reports more than 6,400 people displaced from 130 communities in this context since 2023, leaving 48 communities fully displaced.
What the sources establish
OCHA directly reports the aggregate figures from UN humanitarian partners, establishing the UN's stated assessment. Middle East Eye and AFP repeat the same OCHA data and are not independent corroboration. The title and summary therefore attribute the figures to OCHA. The OCHA page gives only a 4 September date, so noon UTC is a representative date value rather than an asserted publication hour. The coarse West Bank marker omits the affected communities' locations. This signal is distinct from the existing northern-camps record, which concerns displacement caused by a military operation in three refugee camps. The Palestinians label is explicitly supported by OCHA.
