Petra quotes Justice Minister Bassam al-Talhouni saying the ministry has allocated 2026 funding for studies, engineering designs and tender documents for planned courthouses in Aqaba and Tafilah. He estimates construction at JD6.5–7 million per building and expects execution tenders in the second quarter of 2027, with each project taking three to four years.
