Jordan's Labour Ministry now says the worker-regularisation period is extended to December 1, superseding the previously reported September 30 deadline. Its October 7 clarification warns of detention and deportation after January 1, 2027 for workers who have not regularised their status. Separately, it announces nationwide inspections from October 8. The notices do not explain how those inspections interact with the extension or determine individual eligibility; no blanket protection from enforcement is established.
