Kurdistan authorities report 236 new schools and kindergartens for the academic year

Shafaq News reports that the Kurdistan Regional Government announced 236 new schools and kindergartens for 2026–27, alongside 476 additional classrooms and renovations at 2,650 institutions. The government says more than 1.75 million pupils are due to attend school.
