Arab News reports Saudi National Greening Season launch

Arab News reports the launch of Saudi Arabia's National Greening Season, citing the vegetation-cover centre, greening programme and environment ministry. The campaign promotes native planting, land restoration and environmental volunteering. Announced rehabilitation targets are plans; the report does not independently establish restored land, tree survival or reduced desertification.

ما تثبته المصادر

The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, National Greening Program and environment ministry are the institutional claimants. Arab News quotes their statements; the original X posts and an independent restoration assessment were not inspected. No material disagreement was found. Implementation, survival and environmental effects remain unresolved. Time converts the displayed 17:04 Saudi publication minute to UTC, not an exact launch hour. The rounded national marker does not locate restoration operations or volunteers.
