SANA reports that the two-day SYNC’26 technology and entrepreneurship conference opened in Damascus on October 9. Organised by SYNC with the communications ministry, its stated aims include networking, knowledge exchange and connecting technical talent with employers. The organiser lists an employment-focused programme; attendance totals and hiring outcomes have not been independently established.
What the sources establish
SANA describes the opening and supplies ceremony photographs. SYNC's own page supports the October 9–10 schedule and employment programme, not an independent assessment of attendance or jobs created. No independently produced corroboration of outcomes was located, and no material disagreement was identified. event_time is SANA's UTC publication minute, not the ceremony's start time. No community identity or sensitive location is inferred.
