Editorial Team is our collective publishing byline. We do not currently publish individual editor biographies. It identifies responsibility for this site; it does not imply that a named reporter attended an event or independently verified a source’s statement.

Our reporting links readers to the underlying evidence, names the claimant where relevant and separates observation, allegation and unresolved questions. Corrections and material updates remain attached to the story. Read the methodology for the standards we apply.

Reporting and opinion

The source-linked news feed and reports describe what the evidence establishes. Articles in Opinion present the Editorial Team’s arguments and judgments, and carry a separate section label.
